The man without borders

- Sture Linnér was undersecretary general during Dag Hammarskjöld at the UN in the early 1960-ies. He is the author of 37 books –most of them connected to the mediterranean area. He spent three years in Greece during WWII as a red cross operative, worked for UNDP and FAO in many countries, among them Congo, Cambodia, Tunisia, Somalia and Egypt. He headed a major mining project in Liberia and is a Professor of greek culture and literature.
